The Independence Arena is a premier equestrian facility designed to accommodate both recreational and competitive riding. Featuring a large steel-frame riding arena, this structure offers ample open space, high ceilings, and durable construction ideal for year-round training and events. Attached to the arena are fully equipped stables, providing comfortable and functional accommodations for horses and their caretakers.
This state-of-the-art facility was built with both performance and practicality in mind—combining Structural Buildings’ expertise in steel construction with thoughtful design elements tailored to the equestrian community. 40×40 run-in building, providing a safe, open shelter where horses can move freely while staying protected from the elements. 80×160 riding arena, built with 3′ 10″ slanted rail guard arena walls to enhance safety and support high-performance training.

Structural Buildings completed this 8,420 square-foot stall barn in Maple Lake, Minnesota, in September 2014.

Our customer purchased this property to pursue her love of horses but the condition of the arena was unsafe and unappealing. Structural Buildings was able to make her dream a reality and this winter they will be riding in their new heated, top-of-the-line equine facility.
