Decades of Firsts
Structural Buildings has been an innovator in the commercial buildings industry since its inception in 1985. In the beginning, Structural Buildings operated its own lumberyard, Metawood, to cut material costs. We have always done our own engineering and drafting in-house, and were among the first—if not the first—companies in the St. Cloud area to offer computer-aided design (CAD).
Over the years, we’ve developed partnerships with the top suppliers in the country, pushing them to develop higher-quality products. Structural Buildings was the first firm in the state to use glue laminate columns and offer 28-gauge steel panels as standard on our post-frame buildings. Through our working partnerships with our suppliers, we offer our customers innovative solutions using only the highest-quality materials.
