Structural Buildings was proud to be part of the 2025 Coon Lake Classic Ice Fishing Contest in Frederic, WI—a beloved event that made its long-awaited return thanks to the dedicated efforts of local business owners Troy Engen (Structural Buildings), Brian Daeffler (Daeffler’s Meats), and the Frederic Fire Department.
With over 100 contestants taking to the ice, the event was a huge success, bringing the community together for a day of fishing, fun, and fundraising. Participants had the chance to win raffle prizes, a meat raffle, gun raffles, and door prizes, adding excitement to the competition. The Frederic High School Music Department also played a key role, selling concessions to raise funds for their program.
Beyond the fun, this event had an important mission—all proceeds will go toward conservation efforts and fish restocking for Coon Lake, ensuring the lake remains a thriving resource for years to come.
