Full Throttle Tuesday Racing Update for 5/25/21

The racing season is heating up and we are excited! Here’s another Full Throttle Tuesday update!

On Friday night Dave Mass Racing would travel up to Fergus Falls to the Sure Step I-94 Speedway for the NLRA Late Model special. There was a huge field of late model drivers that came from all around the surrounding states for this main event. There were 31 drivers competing for the big trophy.

In the heat race Dave would start in 2nd place on the front row and would quickly jump out into the lead. Dave would go on to win his heat race. In the future because of his first place finish in the heat race, he would start on the front row again. Dave again jumped out to and early lead on lap one and would never look back. Dave went on to win the future and is the 2021 NLRA Late Model Champion

On Saturday night they would take the superstock up to Alexandria to the Viking Speedway for the second weekend in a row. Dave started 5th in his heat race and would run out of laps as he was closing on the leader. Dave ended up finishing in second place. In the future event Dave would start in the seventh starting position. The #2 would work his way up through the pack and take the lead in dominating fashion with several laps to go. Dave ended up winning by a full straight away for back to back nights of parking his hot rod in victory lane.

On Sunday night Dave Mass racing would travel to St Cloud to Granite City Motor Park. Dave raced both, his late model and super stock.

In a superstar class they would start 7th in as he race and end up finishing 2nd. In the future he would start fourth row and we end up finishing up in fourth. Dave felt like he had something that was off on his car and he is planning to get it back on the scales this week to see if he can make some adjustments to get it dialed in better.

In the late model class they would start in fourth place in the heat race. He would charge to the front and end up winning the heat race I 3/4 of a straight away. In the future David start in the seventh starting position again and work his way up through the pack. With a couple cartons day was able to make his way to the front. But he would have to settle for second place for the night as he just ran out of time after being able to put together a hard charge to the front.

Congratulations to Dave Mass Racing on an absolutely fantastic weekend.
